Mr. Wunderlich has qualified as an expert witness in Local, State, and Federal courts
throughout the United States in the following areas:

Mr. Wunderlich received his Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University
in Police Science and Administration. He was with the Los Angeles Police Department from
1959 to 1963 and was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service for more than
thirteen years. While with the Los Angeles Police Department, Mr. Wunderlich was a
detective assigned to the Scientific Investigation Division, Comparative Analysis Section
and was qualified as an expert in firearms identification (ballistics), number
restoration, bomb disposal and crime scene reconstruction.
While in the U.S. Secret Service, Mr. Wunderlich was assigned at the White House in
Washington, D.C. and at several field offices. While at the White House, he served on
protective details for numerous Presidents and was assigned to the Intelligence/Technical
Security Division. In his capacity as a Special Agent for Protective Divisions, he
conducted physical security surveys for Presidents, Vice Presidents, other U.S. Government
officials and specified foreign dignitaries on six continents and throughout the United
States. He also conducted physical security surveys for visiting heads of state at many
locations throughout the United States. While working the security detail for former
President Nixon at San Clemente, California, Mr. Wunderlich supervised Special Agents and
a proprietary guard force.
While assigned to the Technical Security Division and other divisions within the U.S.
Secret Service, Mr. Wunderlich was involved in the design and implementation of security
systems for the White House, the U.S. Treasury Building, the U.S. Mint (Denver), various
Presidential residences and the State of Colorado Governor's mansion. These activities
included recommendations for security hardware such as alarms, CCTV and access control
systems.
In private industry, Mr. Wunderlich was employed as Manager of Corporate Security for
Continental Airlines, Vice-President of Security and Operations for British West Indian
Airways and Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Board for Security for an oil
exploration and production company. For the past twenty-three years, he has owned and
operated his own security consulting company. While serving as an airline security manager
Mr. Wunderlich conducted security surveys at airline facilities throughout the United
States and the Caribbean, negotiated security contracts and supervised contract security
officers.
Since opening his own business in 1979, Mr. Wunderlich has conducted physical security
surveys in Saudi Arabia, South Africa, West Africa, South America, Central America,
Australia, Papua New Guinea, Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe, New
Zealand, Indonesia, and throughout North America. These surveys involved measures
providing protection for company assets as well as company employees. He has taught
courses on procedures for conducting physical security surveys to national security forces
from ten Middle Eastern countries, for the American Society for Industrial Security, the
Professional Private Investigators of Colorado, the World Association of Detectives and
other professional groups. In his career in the security business, Mr. Wunderlich has
conducted in excess of four hundred fifty security audits/surveys. He has written numerous
articles on the need for physical security, which have been printed in nationally
circulated publications.
During his career in the security/law enforcement field, Mr. Wunderlich has testified as
an expert witness in excess of three hundred times, in municipal, state and federal
courts. He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the National
Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS), the World Association of
Detectives (W.A.D.), and is the Past President of the Professional Private Investigators
of Colorado. The World Association of Detectives awarded Mr. Wunderlich with the
"Investigator of the Year" award in 1991 in recognition of the many complex
investigations conducted by Wunderlich and his contribution to the field of private
investigations and security consulting. Further, Mr. Wunderlich also serves on the Board
of Directors of the World Association of Detectives and is currently the President of the
National Council of Investigation and Security Services. Mr. Wunderlich holds the
designation of Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from the Professional
Certification Board of the American Society for Industrial Security and the designation of
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the National Association of Certified Fraud
Examiners.
